Veronica Swindale, MD of nesma, met with Kate Simpson, MBE, Executive Coach. Kate runs a coaching business in the North East aimed at helping manufacturing leaders to win at work by developing personal strategies to work smarter, not harder.
NEW CIM COMMENDATIONS
In December, nesma has had another fantastic set of CIM results for our students, with a 100% pass rate and 80% of them receiving merit or distinction. Now we have received five commendations for that period.

Showcasing North East Talent
Veronica Swindale, MD of nesma, caught up with Nichola Elgie who won the Marketer of the Year award at North East Marketing Awards. Nichola received this accolade due to the positive impact she has made on client campaigns with her strategic planning, creativity and innovative thinking.

On Thursday, 27 January 2022, Lucy and Veronica will be at Carlisle Skills and Careers Fair, held at Carlisle College between 2.30 pm - 6.30 pm.
Everyone has leadership potential
Veronica and Catherine initially met in 1999 when Catherine was studying for her CIM Marketing Certificate. With their mutual interest in marketing and Leadership and the CIM Marketing Leadership Programme, one of the qualifications available to study at nesma, the pair found they had a lot to discuss when they caught up again.

The CIM Diploma in Sustainable Marketing programme enables learners to explore key aspects of sustainability and identify those which could create long-term value for your organisation and its customers, alongside meeting the requirements for the sustainability of the planet.

A Responsible Business Approach
Veronica Swindale met with Dr Helen Goworek, Associate Professor in Marketing and Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Lead for Durham University Business School for Northern Insight Magazine. It was brilliant timing, too, as CIM has now launched its Sustainable Marketing Module as part of the CIM Diploma in Professional Marketing (L6), which is very exciting.
