Change Management: how do we make it stick?

Overview

Change management ensures that the change leaves an organisation better than it was beforeThis involves understanding what is driving the change, understanding the risks, understanding the people motivators, understanding the benefits, and having the ability to embed the change firmly within the culture of the organisation.

Course structure

This is an interactive virtual session.  We will look at what drives change, what good change looks like and how we ensure that change sticks.

It will cover:

  • What is driving the change:

Organisations choose the right change based on their constraints around time, cost, and effort.  An understanding of the constraints will help you identify where commitment is needed from: those being changed, those leading change and those delivering change.

  • Quantifying the benefits of the change:

Building on an understanding of the constraints around change and the commitments required you can develop the wins (in morale, performance, and capability) that you need to communicate to all parts of your organisation.

  • Embedding the change

Successful change management results in a beneficial institutionalised change. You will learn the importance of continually articulating the benefits of the new ways of working and your organisations' success.  You will learn how to develop ways of articulating this up the leadership chain and across the delivery teams.
