CIM Event – In conversation with Dawn McGuigan – 26 September

Dawn has over 15 years of experience working in some of the region’s biggest public and private sector organisations. 

As a specialist in housing, she has delivered regeneration campaigns for Gateshead Council and currently heads up the brand and communications team at Gentoo, the biggest social landlord in Sunderland. She led Barratt Homes’ North East marketing team for more than three years and was awarded the group’s national award for individual excellence in 2013 for transforming its marketing strategy.

From 2015-2018, Dawn managed the communications and marketing team at North Tyneside Council, overseeing large-scale projects such as the redevelopment of Spanish City and launch of the North of Tyne devolution agreement.

In her spare time, Dawn runs a book group and book blog and was shortlisted for the Northern Blog Awards in 2017. Come along to hear Dawn talk about her career journey so far and her plans for the future.
