Managing Director of nesma and Course Leader, Veronica Swindale has been confirmed as one of this year’s judges at the North East Marketing Awards.
As a Chartered Marketer, Fellow and CIM Ambassador of the North, Veronica is the perfect choice for judging the huge wealth of talent that the North East has to offer. These awards will recognise the outstanding contributions that have been made to the marketing, PR and digital sector over the past 12 months.
The Biscuit Factory in Newcastle plays host to this celebration and showcase of the region’s creativity and talent. The awards will be held on Thursday 18 October 2018, however, the deadline to submit a nomination is on Monday 16 July. There is no better feeling than being recognised for your hard work and collecting an award, so make sure that you get your nominations in as soon as possible.
Award categories range from the Rising Star of the Year, for those under 30 who have already excelled in their role and who are the leaders of the future, to the Outstanding Achievement Award for individuals who have made a significant contribution to the marketing profession over a period of many years. They have been designed to reflect the breadth of specialisms and to recognise talent from across the career span of marketers. Entries for each category are open to all individuals, teams and agencies from Northumberland, County Durham, Tyne & Wear, Teesside and Redcar & Cleveland.
On judging at this year’s awards, Veronica Swindale explained that “it’s great to have a regional awards dinner in the North East for the profession, which recognises marketing, public relations and digital marketing go hand in hand to form a comprehensive strategy”.
