About The Outward Bound Trust:

Established in 1941, the Outward Bound Trust is an educational charity that helps young people defy limitations through learning and adventures in the wild. Doing so inspires young people to achieve more than they ever thought possible, so they become strong, resilient, and curious, ready for the challenges of life.

Using learning and adventures in the wild from their six centres across the UK, the Outward Bound Trust partner with schools, colleges and employers to deliver life-enhancing programmes to over 25,000 young people a year, teaching them the most important lesson they could ever learn: to believe in themselves. They also fundraise over £5m a year so financial need never stands in the way of attendance.

The Outward Bound Trust’s main goal is to empower all young people to succeed – for themselves, their communities and society.

What you’ll do:

The Outward Bound Trust is looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to join their Marketing and Communications Team based at their Head Office on the edge of the Lake District.

You will have key responsibility for leading and developing acquisition and retention marketing strategies for the Outward Bound Trust to drive lead generation and engagement with teachers, employers and parents, delivering strong demand and growth for the charity.

You will be joining Outward Bound at an exciting time in its 80-year history, as they are looking to revolutionise and diversify marketing and communications, so this is a real opportunity for you to join them and make an impact!
