This training opportunity with Newcastle Cathedral is open to current undergraduate and postgraduate students and to recent graduates (within the last two years).

Contract: The internship is offered on a part-time fixed term contract for one year from 15 October 2021 and is subject to a three-month probationary period.
Salary: £8.91 per hour (National Living Wage).
Hours: The post is offered on a part-time basis, working 20 hours per week. The normal office hours are 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday with half-hour unpaid lunch breaks. Due to the nature of the post, the successful applicant will be required on occasion to work outside office hours, including some evenings and weekends. Lieu time is available.

The role will assist the Cathedral’s Marketing and Communications Manager and the Digital Marketing Officer to optimise opportunities and provide support in all aspects of the delivery of marketing and communications relating to the Cathedral, aimed at engaging a broad range of target audiences including tourists, families, schools, pilgrims, and new volunteers.
