Oasys is the brand through which Arup sells the market-leading technical software developed by the Digital Development team in Digital Technology.  Oasys software is used extensively within Arup as well as being sold to companies around the world.  The Oasys commercial team is responsible for the marketing and sales of these products globally and for providing customer service and support.

The Role

Oasys are looking for a CRM officer and marketing assistant to join the team marketing and selling our commercially available software products.  The role is wide and varied and covers structural, geotechnical and pedestrian simulation software.  This is an opportunity for someone to join a successful and expanding sales & marketing team supporting the business development managers (BDMs) in delivering the team sales target.

Aptitude and attitude will be more important than past experience as training will be given on company systems and where necessary their software products.  An ability to adapt, be able to learn quickly and be comfortable with new technology is needed in this entry-level role within the sales & marketing team.  The successful candidate will help support the marketing coordinator and gain digital marketing and event planning experience, as well as assist the sales team in keeping data in the CRM system up to date.

The team has ambitious growth plans so the successful applicant should have the opportunity to progress in either sales or marketing.

Responsibilities of the role include :

  • Work with the marketing coordinator to deliver the marketing plan
  • Monitor the social media account and keep CRM data up to date
  • Work with BDMs to create and maintain account maps
  • Research potential new customers and add data to CRM
  • Work with CRM administrators to optimise CRM configuration
  • Assist their internal sales team with sales lead logging and response
