Northumberland Council Council is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated marketing communication professional for a key role in its award-winning Communications team working with the Communities and Culture directorates (including Libraries, Archives and Tourism).

The successful candidate will have first-class writing skills, be creative, and have a significant understanding of marketing communications and engagement principles, stakeholder management and delivering effective, measurable campaigns.

The team is primarily based in our main office at Morpeth County Hall

Key Responsibilities:

· Producing press materials
· Content generation for features and news
· Manage marketing plans across different channels
· Monitor effectiveness and provide recommendations
· Generate ideas and implement new marketing initiatives
