The leading regional PR awards are back for 2018! The CIPR PRide Awards recognise the outstanding work you've been delivering for your clients and employers across the UK. Winning a PRide Award marks you out as an industry leader in your area, boosts team morale and demonstrates the value of PR to the wider business world.

Come along after work on Wednesday 16 May to find out all about the CIPR PRide Awards 2018 and the 22 different categories open for entries this year, including all the do's and don'ts to make your entry stand out.

Gain a Competitive Edge

CIPR accredited trainer, Laurel Hetherington, will lead an informal session designed to help you plan and prepare your entries for the prestigious PRide Awards. You’ll learn how to construct an award-winning submission to be in with the best chance of scooping ‘Gold’ on the night.

Plus, hear from Chris Taylor, Managing Director of DTW, former NE Regional Chair and now CIPR Council Member, who will be on hand to tell you how his team have scooped various awards at the PRide North East Awards, including Outstanding Large Consultancy of the Year at the 2017 Awards; and from Deb Sharratt, Vice-Chair of our regional committee, PRide Co-ordinator and also a former PRide judge, as well as a PRide Awards winner herself, who'll be giving tips and tricks to give your entry a competitive edge.

Benefits to you

As well as hearing about how to win an award, attendees who are entering the awards for the first time will also receive a £50 discount on their first 2018 award submission. The discount is limited to one per organisation or individual and only applicable to new entrants in the 2018 CIPR North East PRide Awards.

Standard entry fees accepted until 18:00 on Tuesday 12 June 2018:

  • Standard: £115 + VAT
  • Outstanding Young Communicator: £90 + VAT
  • Outstanding Independent Practitioner: £65 + VAT

Late entries are accepted until 18:00 on Tuesday 19 June 2018.

  • Late standard: £190 + VAT
  • Late Outstanding Young Communicator: £165 + VAT
  • Late Outstanding Independent Practitioner: £140 + VAT

Attendance at this event is also worth 5 CPD points for 2018-19.
