Katie thinks marketers should speak up

Rockliffe Hall in Darlington is listed as one of the Sunday Times Top 100 hotels and winner of VisitEnglands coveted Hotel of the Year award. It is a five-star luxury hotel, golf and spa resort offering an award-winning spa, 18 hole championship golf course, three individual restaurants and eleven meeting and event rooms.

Katie Scott is their Sales and Marketing Manager and is profiled as one of the CIM’s North East Marketing Greats. The initiative aims to develop and retain marketing talent in the North East region providing insight into the importance of a strategic marketing function and to inspire both existing marketing professionals and young people considering a career in marketing.

Katie joined the pre-opening team at Rockliffe Hall in 2009 as a bright-eyed graduate with a Marketing degree from Northumbria University. She has been part of the senior management team since 2014 and has recently completed the CIM Level 6 Diploma in Marketing with nesma.
