Influencer PR & Marketing – Advanced – Newcastle – 5 March

A 1-day course to take you through the practicalities of working effectively and ethically with influencers while complying with legislation and regulations.

Advanced Influencer Relations with Impact

This full-day workshop is designed for both marketing and public relations professionals and will show you how to work effectively and ethically with bloggers, to build an impactful influencer relations campaign that delivers measurable results and ROI. Suitable for those who have already completed the Essentials of Influencer Marketing & PR course, it is for marketing and public relations professionals who wish to hone their skills in delivering influencer relations campaigns with impact.

More and more organisations and brands have started to work with bloggers and social media influencers on short and ongoing campaigns, yet it is much more than simple blogger outreach that is needed to create campaigns that work. Instead, this workshop will help you to develop a sustained and strategic approach, that is both ethical and effective while delivering measurable results, and keeping you on the right side of the law.

Delivered by award-winning marketing communications professionals and influencers, our Advanced Influencer Relations course is a hands-on session building on the essential skills learned during the Essentials of Influencer Marketing & PR course. You will learn how to create an end-to-end influencer relations campaign from the research and planning phase all the way through to measurement and evaluation, as well as looking at working with bloggers as an element of wider integrated communications campaigns.

You will learn:
- how to research and plan your influencer relations campaign
- how to establish a campaign framework and deadlines
- how to brief bloggers, negotiate contracts and agree on deliverables
- how to manage bloggers throughout your campaign and what to do when the output isn’t quite what you expected
- compliance and regulation so you can work within the legal framework
- how to measure and evaluate your campaign
- how to demonstrate the success of influencer relations within a larger integrated campaign

The course is delivered by Anne-Marie Lacey, a Chartered PR practitioner and current CIPR National Outstanding Young Communicator of the Year. She is Chair of CIPR North East and through her own PR agency works with influencers on a daily basis; and Debbie Sharratt who is both a PR & Marketing professional, former CIPR North East Freelance PR of the year, independent practitioner and lifestyle blogger, sharing tips learnt from the world of influence, and Vice Chair of CIPR North East.

Both Anne-Marie and Debbie are Academic Tutors at a number of universities across the North East and Debbie is a CIPR tutor at nesma.
